- Nick White and Nikos Yerolemou join to expand Fortwell’s loan book
Fortwell Capital, the leading real estate lender, has strengthened its team with two new appointments in newly-created roles as it looks to accelerate the growth of its loan book and continue its expansion into wider geographic areas and sectors. Both Nick White and Nikos Yerolemou join Fortwell Capital as associate directors, with their arrival following the announcement of the company’s new partnership with diversified real estate company Cain International in August 2018.
Nick White arrives from Housing Growth Partnership, the equity fund joint venture between Homes England and Lloyds Bank, where he was an investment manager focusing on equity joint ventures with small to medium sized residential developers. Nikos Yerolemou rejoins Fortwell Capital from Deutsche Finance International, where he was responsible for underwriting acquisitions and asset management.
Both Nick and Nikos will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting, executing and managing new debt financing opportunities across multiple sectors, with a focus on high leverage residential development projects. With the added expertise of both new appointments, Fortwell Capital bolsters its ability to unlock opportunities in London and the South East, and expand its reach into new markets and cities.
Fortwell Capital has lent over £1.2bn since it was established in 2011. After undergoing an MBO in April 2018, Fortwell partnered with Cain International, which powered the business with a £400m cash injection.
