Assessment

Weeks 1 - 2

Immediate filtering based on lending criteria

Desktop assessment, initial feedback

Initial analysis, meeting with borrower, indicative terms communicated

Approval

Weeks 2 - 4

Deal team secures indicative senior management support

Terms fully agreed and detailed analysis undertaken, stage 1 underwriting completed, site inspection, credit application submitted

Stage 1 credit paper approved by committee

STAGE 1 APPROVAL

Underwriting & Execution

Weeks 4+

Appoint professional team, documentation and due diligence completed

Final credit review undertaken and approved by committee

STAGE 2 APPROVAL

Loan completed and funds advanced

From close

Review of monthly project reporting, processing of regular drawdowns (for construction projects)

Ongoing review of covenants and conditions including contractual documentation, insurances, collateral warranties, etc.

Engagement with client relating to sales / exit strategy
